Frequently asked questions

Do I need a panel upgrade or just a subpanel?

We calculate load and check panel condition. If capacity is tight or equipment is outdated, we’ll recommend a full panel or service upgrade; otherwise a subpanel may be enough.

How long does a panel replacement take?

Most swaps are completed in a day. If a utility disconnect is required, we coordinate timing to minimize downtime.

Will power be off during the upgrade?

Yes, for a portion of the day. We’ll schedule with you and restore service as quickly as possible.

Do you handle permits and inspections?

Yes. We obtain permits, schedule inspections, and meet local code requirements.

Can you add surge protection and AFCI/GFCI breakers?

Absolutely. We can integrate whole-home surge protection and required AFCI/GFCI protection during the upgrade.

My breakers trip often—will a new panel fix that?

We’ll diagnose the cause. A new panel can address capacity and equipment issues, but wiring faults or overloaded circuits may also need correction.
